So here we are on the day after Christmas, halfway through my self -inflicted two week withdrawal from work, and I have decided to finally start blogging. But why and what am I really getting myself into? Well, for one thing I am a firm believer in not creating something without studying and understanding the medium, You are going to paint go to the museums and see what has been done, want to write the great American novel you should be reading the best sellers. How else can you actually contribute to the genre. Because for me, it is not about just being successful but to actually help build the foundation. Added Value. Is that too lofty a goal ? Is it too idealistic or simply moralistically self-serving? I don’t know. But I do know that its my rule, it works for me and I’m stuck with it. So right after I finish typing this, I am off to go read and bookmark blogs of interest, popularity, and innovation. I will let you know how it goes, hopefully. That is the whole point of it, right?
