It is late. I am going to bed, but not before I brag at one more spot how I successfully got Windows XP back on my Dell Dimension 8250. I had been running Kubuntu on for the last couple of months but was not quite pleased with the performance and was about to install a different disto went it cam to my attention that my daughters would rather have a windows instead of the Mac as our common computer. Not so much for any dislike of Mac's, but rather they really wanted to run games and education programs that only run or run better on Windows. Being that Christen and I am trying to keep all those kinds of things off of our Vista laptop, I thought the best solution is revive the XP machine and put it back in the public spot for the girls. Meanwhile I take the Imac back to my lair and run it along side of my oldest machine which will probably be running Knoppix, Ubuntu or maybe something even more light weight (Mint?). It should work out well for everybody and I am looking forward to trying to re-install various OS10 versions just because right now, I am cocky enough to do it.
